Pete and Sara have been married since 2011 and worked in ministry together, planting the Boathouse Church, Putney, studying at Oak Hill Theological College and serving a curacy at Christ Church Mayfair. Through their life and ministry together they have gone from thinking of Jesus Christ as trash to thinking of him as their greatest treasure, and they are passionate that St Paul’s would be a place where all sorts of people can make the same discovery. Pete and Sara say they are reformed evangelicals, continually delighted by the Word of God. In 2018 they moved into Harringay to begin the exciting venture of leading St Paul’s, and Pete became Priest in Charge. They have had four biological children. The fourth died in infancy, and Pete spoke about him here.
Michael grew up in a loving home and attended church from a young age, but rejected the message of the Bible out of a fear that becoming a Christian would take the fun out of life. But at the age of 17, God graciously brought him to faith and a knowledge of Himself. He studied accounting at university before receiving ministerial education at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Michael previously served at College Church, Wheaton, IL and Trinity Church in London before joining the team at St. Paul’s. His primary responsibility as a pastor is to facilitate and multiply disciple-making within our church. He is married to Talitha, and they enjoy living in Haringay.
St Paul’s Harringay is a member of the Co-Mission Initiative, and a parish church in the Church of England. We are a complementarian evangelical church who receive oversight from the Bishop of Ebbsfleet.
